Discount Lighting Store is the internet division of The Lighting
Center, Inc. We have been serving the United States
lighting needs since 1952. We are a full service Lighting Showroom,
with two locations and a staff of lighting consultants with more than 100 years of experience
combined.

other organization.

Center Inc excepts Master Card, Visa, Discover. All payments are used by a SSL secure server.
Return Policy
You may return your purchase to us within 21 days of receipt for a
refund. No returns are allowed after 21 days. Returns without an exchange
of the same fixture(s) are subject to a restocking fee of 25%
plus shipping charges incurred by The Lighting Center, Inc. We do require that the item(s) be returned in their
original packaging, in original new condition and un-installed (hardware
bags unopened, wires uncut or twisted, plastic wrap intact on shades, etc.).
Return shipping is the full responsibility of the purchasing party. When
returning a fixture use only clear tape and do not write on factory box. We
will issue a refund within 48 business hours of receipt of the returned
item(s). We reserve the right to refuse returns or to charge a 50%
restocking fee for items that do not meet these requirements. Special
order items that we do not feature on our web pages, are not returnable.
All returned Items must be accompanied by our Return Authorization Form that
is enclosed with your shipment.
Altered
Fixtures You may request a fixture to be altered by The
Lighting Center Inc, such as installed turn or pull switches, special
painting, or cut pendant rods. These fixtures are not returnable.
Shipping
Shipping lead-times vary due to the following:

| Out of stock Item: To keep our prices low we stock a wide range
of popular lighting fixtures, however we do not stock all the items on our
website. We order from the manufacturer within 48 hrs of your order.
If in stock at manufacturer, shipping from our store is normally
between 2-4 weeks. Some items can be drop shipped from the
manufacturer for an additional charge of $25.00 per manufacturer. Some
manufacturers will not ship directly to a customer and will ship from our
store. |
| Manufacturer Backorder : Longer ship times may occur due to
manufacturer back order, unfortunately we cannot guarantee ship times.
Please do not schedule a contractor until you receive your items. If
notified by a manufacturer of back order we will notify you immediately.
However, we are not always notified of back orders from manufacturers and
apologize for any delay. |

| Free Shipping: Free shipping applies only to the
continental United States by UPS ground. Expedited freight is
available for an additional charge. Orders under $100 are subject to
a $8 handling fee. Shipping outside the continental United States is
available, customer will be charged freight charges incurred by The
Lighting Center. |
| Discontinued Items: Occasionally an item may be
discontinued from a manufacturer. We will notify the customer as
soon as this information becomes available. We apologize for any
inconvenience. |
Cancel an Order
Once your order has shipped from factory a
restock charge may apply. If your order has shipped to you, follow the
directions on your return authorization form (RGA) enclosed in your order.
Shipping
Damage
Inspect your purchase carefully and immediately upon receipt! If you
receive your merchandise damaged, you must notify The Lighting Center Inc
within 48 hours of receipt.
We will send a replacement part or replace the entire fixture at our
discretion. If you choose to return a broken fixture without requesting
replacement of the same fixture, there will be a 25% restocking fee, plus
shipping charges. All returns must have a RGA form enclosed in
order to insure proper crediting. Fixtures must be returned with the
original packaging.
Replacement
Fixtures
Replacement fixtures
will be sent out with a charge to customer for the fixture. The
customer has 21 days from receipt of the item to return the fixture for a
full refund of the replacement fixture. After 21 days the fixture is non
returnable and no refund will be given.
Warranty The
Lighting Center warranties all fixture for 90 days. After 90
days, warranties are through the manufacturer. (except ceiling
fans with lifetime warranties, ceiling fans are warranties are through The
Lighting Center)
Finishes Pictures on our web site are directly from
manufacturers. Different monitor settings or web browsers may affect the
color rendering. If you have any questions please contact us.
Pricing Policy
The Lighting Center's policy is to give all our customers a GREAT
VALUE. We do not inflate our shipping charges to make up for our low
prices. Shipping is Free on orders over $100. There are no 'hidden' charges in our prices!
Occasionally an item may be priced on our site incorrectly. We will
notify the customer as soon as the price discrepancy has been detected and
will give the customer an opportunity to purchase the item at the correct
price.
Local Customers
Internet
prices are excluded from all in store sales or discounts and warranties.
All internet policies apply. Orders can not be billed to house
accounts and must be paid at time of order for products by the customer.
